Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a passionate Mathematics Teacher for Basic and Middle Level students. The role involves delivering engaging, student-centered lessons that develop conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and mathematical confidence. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to motivate learners.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Mathematics to Basic and Middle Level students using engaging and student-centered approaches.
Create a well-managed, positive, and interactive classroom environment that promotes participation and confidence.
Plan and deliver lessons using diverse methodologies, including hands-on activities and real-life applications.
Develop students’ conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and mathematical communication.
Motivate learners and build a growth mindset while addressing different learning needs.
Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and activities; maintain records and provide feedback.
Communicate effectively with parents and collaborate with staff for student progress and
school programs.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at Basic level.
Strong conceptual knowledge in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data handling.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Good classroom management skills and student-focused teaching approach.
Professional, patient, and enthusiastic attitude toward teaching.

Additional Skills (Preferred)

Proficiency in ICT tools (MS Office, smart boards, LMS platforms).
Familiarity with math tools such as GeoGebra, Desmos, or similar.
Ability to use activity-based and differentiated teaching methods.
Willingness to support math clubs, competitions, and co-curricular activities.
