Roles and responsibilities of this job

As a Mathematics Teacher at Balmiki International School, you will play a vital role in providing quality education and fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for mathematics among students. The successful candidate should be passionate about teaching, possess a strong foundation in mathematics, and be dedicated to creating an engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive mathematics curriculum that aligns with the school's educational goals and standards.
Plan and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment, maintaining discipline and promoting a culture of respect and cooperation.
Design and administer assessments to evaluate students' understanding of mathematical concepts, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
: Differentiate instruction to meet the varying abilities and learning styles of students, ensuring that each student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Incorporate technology into the teaching and learning process to enhance mathematical understanding and engage students in interactive learning experiences.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to the development of interdisciplinary projects, and participate in school-wide initiatives.
Establish and maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates on students' progress, and addressing any concerns or queries.
Stay current with educational trends, attend workshops, and engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Actively participate in and support extracurricular activities related to mathematics, such as math clubs, competitions, and events.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for mathematics education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to make complex mathematical concepts accessible to students.
Creativity in teaching methods to inspire a love for learning mathematics.
Proficiency in utilizing technology for teaching and learning purposes.

Note: Salary range is negotiable for deserving candidates.
