Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Math Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging mathematics lessons that support students' intellectual, social, and emotional development.

The ideal candidate should be committed to creating a positive learning environment and inspiring students to develop a lifelong passion for learning.

Key Responsibilities

Develop quality lesson plans and learning activities based on national, local, and school curriculum standards.
Stay updated with changes and developments in the mathematics curriculum.
Deliver engaging classroom discussions using effective and proven teaching methodologies.
Develop practical assignments and provide additional learning resources to support students' academic growth.
Explain mathematical concepts in simple, clear, and age-appropriate ways.
Provide additional academic support to slow learners and students requiring extra assistance.
Continuously assess and monitor students' academic performance.
Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their learning outcomes.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress and development.
Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and participating actively.
Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning among students.
Maintain appropriate classroom records and student performance documentation.
Perform other academic and administrative duties as assigned by the school.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
Relevant teaching training and a valid teaching certificate/license.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably at the primary level.
Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good classroom management and student-handling abilities.
Passion for teaching and ability to create an engaging learning environment.
Knowledge of MS Office, Zoom, Canva, Google Classroom, and other educational technology/software.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school management.
