About the job

Job Title: Marketing Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining relationships with clients in the INGO and NGO sectors, while also managing our social media presence to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
Schedule and conduct meetings with clients to understand their needs and objectives.
Present marketing strategies and solutions tailored to the needs of each client.

Social Media Management:

Create, curate, and manage engaging content across all social media platforms.
Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and opportunities for engagement.
Analyze and report on social media performance metrics, adjusting strategies to maximize reach and engagement.

Marketing Strategy Development:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop comprehensive marketing strategies that align with client goals.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and opportunities for growth.

Content Creation:

Assist in developing marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and promotional content that resonate with the target audience.
Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all platforms.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in marketing, with a focus on client engagement and social media management (Preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.
Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media management tools.
