Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lower Secondary Teacher for English and Nepali subjects to deliver engaging and effective language instruction. The ideal candidate will support students in developing strong reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in both languages while fostering a positive, inclusive, and interactive classroom environment that promotes overall academic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in English and Nepali for lower secondary level students in line with the curriculum.
Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools to enhance student learning outcomes.
Teach reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and comprehension skills in both English and Nepali languages.
Encourage students to actively participate in classroom discussions and language activities.
Assess, evaluate, and monitor students’ academic progress regularly.
Provide constructive feedback and academic support to students as needed.
Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Participate in school meetings, trainings, and professional development programs.
Organize and support extracurricular activities, competitions, and school events.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and school administration for academic improvement.

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s / Master's degree in related field with a minimum of two years of teaching experience.
Strong academic background in English and Nepali language studies.

Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
