Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking qualified and experienced Lower Secondary Facilitators (Maths & Science) with a strong background in Maths and Science to join our team. As a mid-level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in teaching Maths and Science in a secondary school setting. This is a full-time role, with the primary responsibility of facilitating learning and supporting student development in the subjects of Maths and Science.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate learning in Maths and Science for lower secondary students
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the school's curriculum and standards
Use a variety of teaching methods and techniques to cater to different learning styles and abilities
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support as needed
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
Communicate with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge
Assist with school events and extracurricular activities as needed.
