Roles and responsibilities of this job

As a Lower Secondary English Teacher at Balmiki International School, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students in the lower secondary levels. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for English majors, and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience. You will play a key role in fostering language development, critical thinking, and a passion for literature among students.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement a comprehensive and engaging English language curriculum for lower secondary levels.
Develop well-structured lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
Create and administer assessments to evaluate students' language skills and comprehension.
Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to integrate cross-curricular activities.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in English language teaching and educational best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with a major in English.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience.
Strong command of the English language.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Classroom management expertise.
Creative and innovative approach to teaching.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
