Job Description

Position Overview:

Euro School is seeking a dynamic and experienced Librarian to join our team in fostering a love for reading and supporting a vibrant learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting literacy and must possess experience working in a progressive educational setting.

Responsibilities:

Manage the school library, overseeing cataloging, organization, and circulation of materials.
Promote reading culture through engaging activities, book clubs, and literacy programs.
Collaborate with educators to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
Provide guidance and assistance to students in research, information literacy, and resource utilization.
Stay updated with current trends in library science and educational technology.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Librarian in a progressive school environment.
Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
Strong knowledge of library systems, cataloging, and information retrieval methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to curate and maintain a diverse collection of resources catering to different age groups and interests.
