Kathmandu University-Integrated Rural Development Project (KU-IRDP) is a project funded by the government of the Republic of Korea. It is jointly managed by Kathmandu University (KU) Nepal and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Korea. Kathmandu University has formally established Nepal Technology Innovation Center (NTIC) as an entity in Nepal as a major milestone of "Integrated Rural Development of Nepal through Strengthening Research and Development capacity of Kathmandu University."
The main objectives of IRDP/NTIC are:
Smart Health program is one of the major components of IRDP/NTIC. The program has aims to
The program aims to achieve these through the establishment of a smart-health lab and research network. The smart-health lab is envisioned to adopt existing tools, modify standards on need basis, design enterprise architecture, develop it and implement it as smart health platforms, which will be as per international standards.
Position: Lead developer
Job overview:
The Lead Developer for Smart Health Lab will provide an overall direction and leadership for smart health platform development, implementation, commercialization and maintenance. The Lead Developer will be responsible for
(S)he will also be responsible to work with junior developers, consultants, lead of smart health project and relevant stakeholders to develop detailed development plan.

Duration of Contract: 6 Months (+/- 3 days) with possible extension
Starting Date: From the date of signing of contract
Reporting to: Program Lead / Smart Health Program, NTIC, KU-IRDP
Work Station: IRDP/NTIC office, KU, Dhulikhel, Kavre
Lead Developer position is equivalent to Research Associate as specified in RDI policy information and the remuneration will be provided based on his/her qualification and experience.
