Lead and Decide Social Mobilizer

Job Overview:

The Social Mobilizer (SM) will be responsible to implementation of LEAD and DECIDE program. The main responsibility of the SM is to carry out planning, implementation and monitoring activities related to the project as well as to maintain coordination with local government and non government authorities/actors in the assigned working areas. 

Key Role and Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective implementation of approved program (LEAD and DECIDE) activities at project sites/rural municipalities and municipalities on time and provide technical support (facilitation, orientation, training) to Young Women Organizations/youth networks and CoC centre facilitators/champion of Change
• Prepare and submit field visit reports, monthly, quarterly program progress reports to the Project Coordinator (Line Manager) as required by the project
• To make frequently field visit to monitor the project activities in order to carry out effective results of the project;
• To build coordination and collaboration with local government and non government organization such CBOs, municipalities authorities, NGOs, community groups, religious leaders, media etc
• To form and mobilize local level networks of youth networks/Young women Organizations, encourage CoC participants to be affiliate with youth networks, Young Women Organizations, support them to organize advocacy events, day celebrations at individual, communities and local government level
• Facilitate to institutionalize of Young Women Organizations, its networks and CoC groups through networking and building alliance as well as capacity building
• Mobilize the CoC Facilitator and provide active leadership to the team as team leader
• Facilitate to enhance capacity of CoC Facilitators to deliver the outputs of the program on time with quality
• Facilitate as a resource person for SRHR, gender, leadership, institutional development, networking, advocacy and creating movement on the issues of adolescent girls, children and Young women  related training, orientation and workshop activities at sites/municipalities/Spot
• Assist to increase access of Young Women Organizations/youth networks to local government for leveraging the resources through developing mechanism and building co-ordination and Linkage with local government and private sectors along with endorsement of youth networks, Young Women Organization with local government.  
• To provide other supports to the CoC groups, Young Women Organization, youth networks, COC networks as per their needs and requirements
• To maintain necessary records (meeting minute, success story, disaggregated data of participants) of the progress activities of the program
• Facilitate higher spending and ensure timely advance settlement
• Ensure and manage 1-10 sponsorship commitments are met while delivering the project activities in the field
