Ishan Children and Women's Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lab Technician to join our team. As a Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in conducting various laboratory tests to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Performing routine and specialized laboratory tests according to established protocols and procedures.
Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting lab results accurately and promptly.
Maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functioning.
Managing inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.
Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Professional Certification

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Certificate Level in Medical Laboratory Technician(CMLT). Preference will be given to BMLT (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology).
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Lab Technician in a healthcare setting.
Proficiency in performing a wide range of laboratory tests, including hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and immunology.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documenting and reporting lab results.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instruments, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and infection control practices.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
