About the job

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior R&D Officer to join our innovative Research & Development team. The ideal candidate will support the development of new products and processes, contribute to research initiatives, and assist in bringing creative ideas to fruition.

Key Responsibilities:

Research Support: Assist in the planning and execution of research projects, including literature reviews, data collection, and analysis.
Product Development: Contribute to the development and optimization of new products and processes from concept to commercialization.
Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports, documentation, and presentations on research findings and project progress.
Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure consistency and compliance with industry standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and marketing, to support project goals.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and industry trends to inform research and development activities.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in software development, IT research, or a related field is preferred.
Technical Skills: Knowledge in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript. Familiarity with software development frameworks and tools.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and technical information.
Software Proficiency: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), and software development tools (e.g., IDEs, JIRA).
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in conducting research and development activities.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science.
Previous experience in an agile development environment.
