Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Internal Auditor to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring that our documentation, receipts, and accounting entries are accurate and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and transparency of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation Review: Ensure that all financial documentation, including invoices, receipts, and contracts, are properly filed, complete, and accurate.

Accounting Accuracy: Assist in verifying and reconciling accounting entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Compliance Monitoring: Monitor compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements to prevent errors, fraud, and inefficiencies.

Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial transactions.

Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the finance department and assist in implementing best practices.

Risk Assessment: Assist in identifying and assessing financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Reporting: Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to the Finance Manager and other relevant stakeholders.

Training: Assist in training finance staff on compliance and documentation procedures.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / ACCA / CA qualified / students

Experience: 2-3 years of experience in auditing, accounting, or finance. Experience in the media or production industry is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
