Roles and responsibilities of this job

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant at Prabhu Holdings and Power Limited Company.

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for daily bookkeeping, preparing budgets, processing invoices, and reconciling financial statements. The role will also involve assisting with payroll and tax preparation tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting systems.
Reconcile bank statements and track daily transactions.
Assist in preparing budgets, financial reports, and tax returns.
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments.
Verify, post, and record invoices, expenses, and financial transactions.
Assist with audits and provide documentation as required.
Stay updated on accounting standards and company policies.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies:

Basic knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Experience:

Prior internship or 1–2 years of accounting experience is preferred but not required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
Experience with accounting software, e.g. Tally or similar tools.
