Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Accountant will support the Finance Department in managing the school’s financial records and transactions. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and school policies . The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Should report to the seniors mainly manager and director.
Handle the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Analyze and review budgets and expenditures.
Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients.
Resolve accounting discrepancies.
Assist with the preparation of annual audits
Other duties as assigned.
Should develop and maintain financial data bases.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 3 years

Other Specification

Minimum 3 years experience.
Excellent Knowledge of accounting.
Able to work independently.
At least 2 years of working experience in service/school accounting, preferably.
Excellent in computer application MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, Tally Accounting Software.
Strong communication and reporting skill.
