Job Position: Java Software Engineer

Job Location: Kathmandu, Nepal

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using the JAVA spring framework.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements.
• Design and implement software architecture and technical solutions; write clean, efficient, maintainable code; conduct code reviews and provide feedback. Familiarity with microservice architecture is a plus.
• Identify and address technical challenges; troubleshoot and debug complex software issues.
• Design, implement, and maintain SQL databases; write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures and optimize database performance. Nice to have knowledge or experience with elasticsearch.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure software quality and testability and ensure that the applications are secure.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends; propose innovative solutions. Participate in evaluating and adopting new technologies and frameworks.
• Assist in the estimation and planning of software development tasks.
• Mentor and guide junior software engineers.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.

Skills: Java, Spring, SQL, Elasticsearch, Spring Security, MVC, RESTful APIs.

Job Specification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Java Software Engineer.
