Job Description

Job Position: Java Software Engineer

Job Location: Kathmandu, Nepal

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using the JAVA spring framework.
Work with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements.
Design and implement software architecture and technical solutions; write clean, efficient, maintainable code; conduct code reviews and provide feedback. Familiarity with microservice architecture is a plus.
Identify and address technical challenges; troubleshoot and debug complex software issues.
Design, implement, and maintain SQL databases; write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures and optimize database performance. Nice to have knowledge or experience with elasticsearch.
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure software quality and testability and ensure that the applications are secure.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends; propose innovative solutions. Participate in evaluating and adopting new technologies and frameworks.
Assist in the estimation and planning of software development tasks.
Mentor and guide junior software engineers.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.

Skills: Java, Spring, SQL, Elasticsearch, Spring Security, MVC, RESTful APIs.

Job Specification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Java Software Engineer.
