Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Conduct interactive and engaging lessons up to JLPT N3 level using innovative methods (excluding みんなの日本語; curriculum and online teaching materials will be provided).
Integrate ICT tools and PCs to enhance the learning experience.
Assign, review, and provide feedback on homework while maintaining comprehensive records.
Develop lesson plans, activities, and materials tailored to diverse learning needs.
Explore and implement new language teaching methodologies.
Design and grade exams and assignments, monitoring student progress and planning follow-up programs.
Maintain detailed daily reports, including attendance, homework completion, test scores, and grades.
Conduct one-on-one interviews with students in addition to group lessons.
Address classroom challenges and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Educate students on Japanese culture, work ethics, and norms for living and working in Japan.

Salary and Benefits

Full-time Opportunities:

Gross Salary: Starting from NPR 50,000 per month (subject to skills and experience).
Social Security Benefits: Coverage as per government regulations.
Working Hours: 8 hours per day with a 1-hour break.
Festival Allowance: Entitlement to festival allowances as part of the benefits package.
Induction and Training: A one-week induction and training program will be conducted before final confirmation of employment.

Part-time Opportunities:

Hourly Rate: NPR 300 per hour.
Working Hours: Not exceeding 24 hours per week.

Other Specification

Requirements :

Proficiency in Japanese at JLPT N2 or N3 level.
Bachelor degree is required.
At least 1.5 years of living experience in Japan.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and engage students.
Flexibility with time and scheduling.
Familiarity with Japanese culture, including living and working rules.
Ability to adhere to professional standards, including punctuality, reporting, and progress tracking.
Participation in the Japan Foundation’s training programs (preferred).
