IT Support Officer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist with expertise in cloud computing, server management, and security to join our dynamic team. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, managing servers, and ensuring the security of our IT systems. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
 

Key Responsibilities 

 Cloud Computing:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and ensure high availability.

 Server Management:

• Administer, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
• Perform routine server maintenance, updates, and patch management.
• Troubleshoot server issues and ensure optimal performance.

Security:

• Implement and maintain security best practices for servers and cloud environments.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments.

Backup and Disaster Recovery:

• Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for critical systems and data.
• Test and document disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and system availability.

 Collaboration and Documentation:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions that align with business goals.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide training and support to end-users as needed. 

Compliance and Governance:

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations relevant to IT security and data privacy.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and cybersecurity.
