Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a dynamic and responsible IT Officer to manage IT infrastructure, support staff and students, and enhance digital learning experiences at Wendy House School.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, maintain, and monitor computer systems, networks, and internet facilities
Provide timely technical support to teachers, staff, and students
Maintain, update, and troubleshoot the school website
Design graphics and edit photos/videos for school programs, notices, social media, and promotions
Manage email systems, digital records, and cloud-based tools
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues
Ensure data security, antivirus protection, and regular system backups
Support smart classes, projectors, interactive boards, and digital learning platforms
Install, configure, and update software and operating systems
Assist in planning and implementing new IT systems and technologies
Maintain inventory records of IT equipment and coordinate repairs when needed
Train staff on basic IT tools and digital best practices when required

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
At least 1–2 years of relevant work experience (school experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of networking, computer hardware, and software systems
Experience in website management, graphic design, and video editing tools
Knowledge of data security, backups, and system maintenance
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies
