We are looking for a proactive Investment Analyst with a focus on the agriculture sector. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying, assessing, and supporting high-potential investment opportunities across Nepal's agriculture landscape.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct market research on Nepal's agriculture landscape and provide analytical support for investment decisions.
Perform initial reviews and screening of prospective agri-focused investment opportunities.
Manage and update the agriculture investment pipeline by maintaining internal databases and tracking ongoing prospects.
Analyze financial and operational data from potential investee companies, including historical and projected financial statements, to assess performance and opportunities.
Develop comprehensive financial models and projections, integrating sensitivity analyses that consider market dynamics and company growth potential.
Lead in-depth due diligence processes, covering financial, operational, and market aspects, collaborating with external advisors and consultants to ensure robust evaluations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial industry standards, particularly in the context of agriculture-focused investments.
Keep informed on market trends, economic conditions, and capital market developments, particularly those influencing the agriculture sector.
Provide technical and strategic support to portfolio companies and stakeholders, helping them navigate financial and operational challenges.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or Agriculture, with a strong preference for candidates who demonstrate both financial and agricultural expertise.
2-3 years of professional experience, ideally within Agri-Processing, Agri-Manufacturing, Agri- infrastructure companies, or the broader agriculture sector.
Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed.
Proficiency in both written and spoken Nepali and English, with strong communication skills in both languages.
