Sunaulo Parivar Nepal (SPN), a local implementing partner of Marie Stopes International in Nepal, is a well-established NGO which is delivering Family Planning and Sexual Reproductive Health services through‐out Nepal via different service delivery channels: centres, outreach and Marie Stopes (MS) Ladies. It works in partnership with Marie Stopes International UK (MSI), a global charity for providing reproductive health services across the world with a mission of ensuring individual’s fundamental right to have children by choice not chance.

We are looking for qualified and competent candidates for the following position:

Position: Interpersonal Communication (IPC) Representative
Required Number: 2
Job Location: Lalbandi and Pokhara
Employment Type: Contractual, yearly contract with possibility of extension.

Job Description:

The Interpersonal Communication (IPC) Representative will be responsible for implementing an impactful demand generation activation strategy designed to diagnose and meet the community needs, build client awareness, product/ service uptake, and build SPN brand loyalty. S/he should also visit key stakeholders and referral points on regular basis to motivate and increase referral service numbers in centres. This is field based position and will require extensive travel within assigned district.

Qualification and Experience Required:

Minimum of +2 academic qualification (Bachelor’s in any discipline preferred)
Minimum of 1-year experience in carrying out demand generation or sales activities (preferably focused on sexual and reproductive health)
Demonstrated experience in working in the community and mobilizing local community staff.
Experience in working in coordination with Government or other key stakeholders.
Should have a valid two-wheel driving license.
