Type: Internship — 6 months (with potential full-time offer)
Working Hours: UK business hours (approx. 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Nepal time)

The Role

We are looking for a creative, motivated Intern - Video Editing and Graphic Design to join Spark Digital for a 6-month paid internship. You will work on real client campaigns from day one — editing short-form videos for social media ads, designing graphics for posts, ads, websites, and creating visual content that helps our clients win attention online.

This is a structured 6-month programme with hands-on training, regular feedback, and clear performance milestones. Strong performers will be offered a full-time role at the end of the internship with a significantly higher salary.

Key Responsibilities

Edit short-form videos for Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, and YouTube Shorts — including hooks, captions, transitions, sound design, and B-roll.
Repurpose long-form video into multiple short-form variations for different platforms.
Design static and animated graphics for social media posts, paid ads, email campaigns, and websites.
Create thumbnails, banners, and creative assets for client campaigns and Spark Digital's own brands.
Support the creative team in concepting and producing ad creatives that drive performance.
Maintain visual consistency with each client's brand guidelines (fonts, colours, tone).
Stay on top of trends in short-form content, viral hooks, and ad creative styles.
Organise and manage project files, raw footage, and brand assets so the team can find them easily.

What We're Looking For

Background

Currently studying or recently completed a degree, diploma, or course in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Film, Animation, Marketing, or a related field.
Some practical experience with editing or design — this can be from coursework, freelance projects, personal social media content, or short internships.
A portfolio is required — links to Instagram, TikTok, Behance, YouTube, Google Drive, or anywhere else we can see your work.
Tools You Should Be Comfortable With (or willing to learn quickly)
Video editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
Graphic design: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva (Canva Pro is fine for many of our needs).
Bonus: Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, Figma for web/UI assets. bullet Confident using AI-assisted creative tools (image generation, auto-captions, background removal, etc.).

Soft Skills & Working Style

Strong sense of visual taste — you instinctively notice what makes a piece of creative work or not.
Good written and spoken English — comfortable receiving briefs and feedback from the UK-based team.
Self-managed and reliable in a fully remote setup.
Open to feedback and willing to iterate. We will give you a lot of it.
Curious about marketing, advertising, and what makes people stop scrolling.

Internship Structure

Month 1: Onboarding, training on tools, brand guidelines, and our creative process. Supporting senior team members on edits and designs.
Months 2 – 3: Taking ownership of smaller projects end-to-end. First performance review at month 3 with stipend revision based on progress.
Months 4 – 6: Leading creative output on selected client accounts. Final review at month 6 to decide on a full-time offer.

Working Arrangement

Remote, based anywhere in Nepal.
UK business hours — typically 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Nepal time (adjusts slightly with UK summer/winter clocks).
Monday to Friday.
You will need your own laptop capable of running editing software, a stable internet connection, and a quiet workspace for video calls.
