Roles and responsibilities of this job

A dynamic, experienced, and committed educator for the position of Science Instructional Supervisor who can strengthen instructional quality, mentor teachers, and support effective curriculum implementation across the Science subject area.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support Science teachers in lesson planning, teaching strategies, and classroom management
Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive, actionable feedback
Guide teachers to improve instructional practices and student engagement
Coordinate subject-based academic planning, assessments, and evaluations
Monitor curriculum implementation and academic progress of students
Organize and facilitate teacher training and professional development sessions
Ensure alignment of teaching practices with school academic standards
Collaborate with school leadership to improve overall academic outcomes

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Master’s Degree in Science or a relevant subject
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the school level (secondary level preferred)
Prior experience in academic leadership, coordination, or supervision is an advantage
Strong understanding of modern teaching methodologies and curriculum design
Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills
Ability to analyze classroom practices and support teacher improvement

Preferred Skills:

Teacher training and mentoring experience
Strong classroom observation and evaluation skills
Ability to lead academic discussions and departmental meetings
Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Curriculum planning and academic coordination skills
