Navodaya Shishu Sadan English Secondary School is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and committed educator for the role of Instructional Supervisor - Secondary English Teacher. The selected candidate will play a vital role in enhancing teaching quality, mentoring teachers, and ensuring effective curriculum implementation within the English department.

This position is ideal for education professionals who are passionate about academic leadership, teacher development, and improving student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support teachers in lesson planning, teaching strategies, and classroom management.
Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback for instructional improvement.
Mentor teachers to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Coordinate academic planning, subject-related activities, and assessments.
Monitor curriculum implementation and academic progress within the department.
Organize and facilitate professional development programs and training sessions for teachers.
Ensure teaching practices align with the school’s academic standards and educational goals.
Collaborate closely with the school leadership team to strengthen overall academic performance.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Master’s Degree in English or a relevant field.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the school level (secondary level preferred).
Previous leadership, coordination, or supervisory experience in an educational institution will be an advantage.
Strong understanding of modern teaching methodologies and curriculum planning.
Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills.
Ability to evaluate classroom practices and guide teachers toward improvement.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in teacher training and mentoring.
