Job Description

Administration, troubleshooting, configuration, installation, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and high availability design projects
Support Redhat Servers installed in private and public cloud environments
Participate in the design, planning, and implementation of new projects / technologies with Linux.
Provide day-to-day operational support on Linux and Unix based System including responding to incidents, troubleshooting, and executing corrective action
Prepare Root Cause Analysis Reports for any incident/problem management and plan mitigation and preventive measures for preventing similar events in future.
Ensure effective security, operation and peak performance of UNIX/Linux server and virtualization management environments
Assist with hardware maintenance and lifecycle planning
Development of customer support processes, technical planning, and work coordination
Interact with application vendors whenever necessary to reach problem resolution
Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies
Performs day-to-day activities related to the support, research, analysis, and implementation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems
Writes and maintain scripts for automation and scheduled process whenever needed
Monitor the health of the Linux servers through both automated and manual processes
Communicating Linux solutions in a professional way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
