Job Description

We Care Health Center is seeking a motivated Information Desk Clerk to join our dental care team. As a mid-level member of our organization, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as a strong understanding of dental care procedures and terminology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors at the dental care information desk
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Schedule appointments for patients and coordinate with dental care providers
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records and information
  • Educate patients on dental care procedures, services, and payment options
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
  • Handle patient complaints and concerns with empathy and provide appropriate solutions
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in dental care to provide accurate information to patients
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the dental care supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental care setting
  • Strong knowledge of dental care procedures, terminology, and insurance plans
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in computer systems and electronic health records
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
