The Position: The Humanitarian Specialist plays a leadership role in humanitarian preparedness and response for the UNFPA Nepal country and provincial offices. She is responsible for providing technical inputs to the planning conceptualization, implementation, monitoring of the UNFPA supported humanitarian preparedness and response initiatives across the country. She will maintain collaborative relationships with the relevant government line ministries and departments, civil society organizations, the United Nations fundi, programmes and specialized agencies and other humanitarian partners, at all levels. Reporting directly to the Deputy Representative, h/she will be responsible for:
