Minimum Qualification:

  • SLC + three (3) years course from Nepali University or CTEVT for General/community medicine
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in community health
  • Must have sufficient skills on computer and have certificates of Nepal Health Professional Council

Working Arrangement

  • The work station is Bodgaun Medical Centre, Sindupalchowk 
  • You need to stay at least 25 days per month in working station
  • The running hours of Medical Centre is from 9:00 to 17:00 with an hour of Lunch break in mid-day. But, the center accepts emergency cases at any hour. You will have other support staffs to perform in those cases

Specific Roles

  • On duty for the emergency department (Day & Night)
  • In-patient monitoring, assessment, prescription of medicines and treatment orders, and interpretation of laboratory results/investigations
  • Minor surgical procedures (i.e. sutures, I&D, debridement of wounds, Cast and Slab application for simple fractures and dislocations)
  • Provide counseling services i.e. addictions/psychiatric, family planning, antenatal, postnatal etc.
  • Assisting and coordinating with visiting interdisciplinary health professionals
  • Engaging in health promotion and teaching activities in community and schools

Specific Characteristics:

  • Acquiring preventive, primitive and curative health care
  • Good Interpersonal communication skills
  • Good and warm relationship with patients

Salary and benefits will be commensurate to experience and ability
