Starlight Foundation (SLF) is a non-profit company existing to support, serve and empower children, families and communities from Nepal’s Himalayan regions through Health, Education, Anti-Human sex trafficking and Environmental programs.  Our working areas are mostly focused in Kathmandu and in the remote villages of northern Gorkha district.  SLF is seeking applicants from health professionals to work in its Health Units in the remote.

Job Description

Work station: Lar, Chhekampar, Ward No. 7, Tsum Nubri Gaun Palika, Gorkha
(The working station can be changed from one to another Health Units run by SLF)

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Carry out patient examination, screening and diagnosis
  • Provide treatment of minor injuries, first-aid in emergencies and disasters
  • Maintain environmental sanitation of Health Unit
  • Attend health-related meetings with SLF Health Officer if required
  • Keep a record of health-related inventory and orders
  • Prepare monthly and annual progress reports of the work done from the Health Unit
  • Responsible for sending monthly reports with photographs and other updates to SLF Health Officer
  • Go on field trips as needed
  • Write Monitoring and Evaluation Reports after each field trip
