We are seeking a creative and skilled Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging digital and print content that resonates with our target audience, drives brand awareness, and highlights our mission of empowering Nepali tech professionals. You will create content across various platforms, including social media, website, print materials, and email newsletters, utilizing your expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud applications. Basic knowledge of UX/UI design is a valuable plus.

Responsibilities: 

• Content Creation: Develop, design, and produce visually appealing content for various platforms, including social media, websites, email newsletters, blogs, and print materials such as brochures, flyers, and posters.
• Adobe Proficiency: Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud applications, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro, to create high-quality graphics, videos, infographics, and other multimedia content.
• Social Media Management: Create and schedule engaging social media content, including graphics, videos, and animations, to enhance brand presence and engagement.
• Basic Photography and Videography: Capture and edit basic photographs and videos for use in digital content, ensuring all visuals align with brand standards and messaging.
• Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives and visual stories that highlight the impact of Smartworks on Nepali tech professionals and global companies.
• Content Calendar Management: Manage and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality content across all platforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with business goals and target audience needs.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to refine and improve content strategies.
• SEO Knowledge: Utilize knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics to optimize content for search engines and enhance visibility.
• UX/UI Skills: Basic knowledge of UX/UI design using tools like Figma and Adobe XD is a plus, adding value to your role by enhancing user experience in our digital products.
• Research: Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure content is relevant and effective.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio of work showcasing proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Excellent graphic design skills.
• Basic knowledge of photography and videography.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency in content management and social media platforms.
• Basic UX/UI design skills using tools like Figma and Adobe XD (valuable but not compulsory).
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web traffic metrics.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
• Passion for the mission of Smartworks and a deep understanding of the tech industry in Nepal.
