About the job

Summary

We are seeking a Senior Unity Game Developer experienced in creating multiplayer games using Unity/C#. As a member of a cross-functional Agile development team, you will be responsible for implementing game logic and new gameplay features with a focus on high-quality, well-documented, and maintainable code. You will collaborate closely with Technical Artists and stakeholders to deliver top-tier games.

This role demands a keen eye for detail, a passion for game development, and the ability to work effectively with partner studios across the organization. The ideal candidate will gain a deep understanding of slot game design and the significance of reusable components across our game portfolio.

Responsibilities

Implement new gameplay mechanics in Unity/C# that align with the game’s design vision.
Develop multiplayer functionality using Unity NETCODE.
Maintain a user-driven mindset, aiming to deliver exceptional player experiences.
Apply knowledge of API design and integration best practices to encourage code reuse.
Become an expert on the components developed for your games.
Learn and master custom toolsets, providing feedback and enhancing pipelines as needed.
Identify and mitigate technical risks, resolving unexpected issues swiftly and accurately.
Ensure error-free releases by incorporating automation and test frameworks into your development process.
Conduct code reviews, offering constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
Collaborate with a remote, geographically distributed global team.
Stay updated on the latest developments in the gaming industry.
Efficiently schedule and manage time, working with Agile development leaders to plan tasks.
Implement features on time and to specification, with meticulous attention to detail.
Support other Unity developers through training, mentorship, and documentation to encourage the adoption of new technology.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience of 4+ years in a relevant field.
4+ years of experience developing 2D/3D games using Unity/C#.
Experience in developing 2D/3D casino games is a plus.
2+ years of experience in an Agile game development team, showcasing adaptability in dynamic environments.
2+ years of experience using asset storage systems (e.g., GitHub).
Strong portfolio of shipped titles demonstrating experience in developing casino game mechanics in Unity/C#.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
