Roles and responsibilities of this job

Global Connect Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Freight Forwarding Operation Officer to manage and coordinate daily freight forwarding operations. The candidate will be responsible for handling shipment documentation, coordinating with clients and carriers, and ensuring smooth logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day freight forwarding operations for import and export shipments.
Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and clearing agents.
Prepare and manage shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, invoices, packing lists, and delivery orders.
Track shipments and provide timely updates to clients.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company procedures.
Maintain proper documentation and operational records.
Resolve shipment issues and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations preferred.
Prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations will be preferred.
Good understanding of import/export procedures and shipping documentation.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
