About the job

We are seeking an experienced and talented Freelance Videographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in videography & video editing, with at least 10 years of professional experience and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.

The position is based in Kathmandu, Nepal, but requires travel within the country for various projects.

Responsibilities:

Create high-quality video content for a variety of projects including promotional videos, documentaries, corporate videos, and social media content.
Capture and edit training videos, ensuring clarity and effectiveness of instructional content.
Capture and produce videos for e-learning courses, collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure accurate and engaging material.
Collaborate with clients and the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards.
Handle all aspects of video production, including shooting, lighting, sound, and editing.
Ensure that all video content meets the highest standards of quality and aligns with the client's vision and objectives.
Manage and maintain video equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
Stay up-to-date with the latest videography trends and techniques.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in videography.
Proficiency in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of videography work.
Excellent storytelling skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel within Nepal for various projects.
Flexible schedule to accommodate different shooting times and locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in diverse and challenging environments.
Knowledge of local cultures and languages within Nepal.
Creative problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations.
