Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a creative and inspiring Fine Arts Teacher to develop students’ artistic skills and appreciation for visual arts, crafts, and cultural traditions. The ideal candidate will foster creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking while supporting students’ holistic development through art.

Academic Session: 2026–2027

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in visual arts, crafts, and related art techniques for PYP and/or MYP students
Introduce students to art history, cultural traditions, and contemporary artistic practices
Encourage creativity, experimentation, and self-expression in student projects
Design and implement assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
Maintain accurate records of student performance, portfolios, and lesson plans
Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, exhibitions, and school events
Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment
Participate actively in professional development, school events, and team meetings

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience teaching Arts.
Skills: Strong knowledge of visual arts, crafts, and art techniques, with an understanding of art history and cultural traditions.
