Premier International School is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Finance Officer to join our team. This mid-level position is a crucial role in our organization, responsible for managing the financial operations and providing financial guidance to our school.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial management.
Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
Manage cash flow and ensure proper allocation of funds for various school expenses.
Conduct financial analysis and provide reports to the management team to support decision-making.
Oversee the school's payroll process and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure timely submission of financial reports.
Collaborate with other departments to develop and monitor project budgets and track expenses.
Stay updated with relevant financial regulations and laws and ensure compliance.
Train and supervise finance team members, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the education sector.
Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in financial software and MS Office.
Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
