Type of Contract: Fixed term till December 2018

ROLE PURPOSE:
The Family Health Manager is responsible for overall management of Family Health programs including Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) program under CASP and to provide backstop support to Family Health Division in preparation, implementation and monitoring of activities planned by the Family Health Division focusing on ASRH, family planning, Female Community Health Volunteer and liaise with Child Health Division for child health and nutrition related activities. S/he will work in collaboration with Family Health Division (FHD), Child Health Division (CHD), district public health offices for effective and timely implementation of planned activities. In addition, s/he is responsible for providing technical and programmatic support to FHD and CHD including facilitation of ASRH sub-committee. In addition to this s/he will also support Family Health Division (FHD) to plan and manage activities in districts including preparing program and other logistic reports.
S/he provides technical and programmatic support to district based CASP team/staffs for the timely implementation of program, monitoring and reporting of the project activities and ensure the quality. S/he represents CASP at national level in different forums, meetings and consultations on policy and technical issues.
In addition, s/he ensures the regular monitoring of key process indicators, alignment with refinement of the packages, related training content, and support to behavior change communications, coordinate with relevant stakeholders for sharing of lessons learnt for consistent uptake by other stakeholders. Furthermore, s/he works in close coordination with other sub-themes under Health and Nutrition portfolio and other thematic areas of Save the Children.
Main Role/Responsibilities/Duties:
Role Dimensions: Save the Children works across the five development regions within the country reaching to over 1.5 million populations annually. SC is working closely and or/ in partnership with different Ministries/Departments, NGOs and civil societies to implement programs related to child rights under 7 thematic priority of SC.
