JOB TITLE: Executive- Group Finance
REPORTS TO: Unit Head- Group Finance
DIRECT REPORTEES (by position name)

• Finance Department Staff
• IT, Operation and General Service Department Staff
• Human Resource Department Staff

INDIRECT REPORTEES: Other department staff.

JOB PURPOSE

Purpose of Finance Department is to operate and smoothly execute Finance Department functions like updating the books of Account of Organization, maintaining necessary documents etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Timely and proper maintaining of books of accounts of organization.
2. Keep the supporting document of each transaction carried out by organization such as physical verification report, Store report, sales and purchase report.
3. Payroll is one of important function of the finance department and includes making sure all employees are paid accurately and timely. In addition, proper tax is assessed and tax payments are on time.
4. To keep the record of party confirmation and balance confirmation from bank prior to the beginning statutory audit.
5. Report Monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank pass book and cash accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports to the finance head.
6. Segregate the duties and responsibility of staff involve in finance department.
7. Oversee taxes calculation, Payment and abide by regulations.
8. Formulate the Budget for Organization on the recommendation of Finance head.
9. Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
10. Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation and analysis.
11. Finance department shall report on timely manner to the finance head about the current and future work projections.

AUTHORITIES

The authority of the Finance Department shall be as prescribed by Financial Administrative Bylaws, Unit Head- Finance and Organization head.

QUALIFICATION/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

Education Qualification:

• Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI/ ICAN) (Drop outs)
• ACCA aspirants (professional level)
• Masters in finance (Running) / Bachelor in Finance (Completed)- Must have prior experience.

Experience:

1 year or above experience in the related field.

Skills Required:

Good Interpersonal Skill. Able to communicate effectively in writing, speaking both in English and Nepali to convey information, listen actively by giving full attention, comprehend effectively to understand job related matters, active in looking for ways to help any staff, aware of others' reactions and identify causes for the same.

Knowledge Required:

Strong knowledge in the field of Accounting, Knowledge about Taxation, MIS and Procurement Procedure.
