1. Kumari Bank Ltd. has allocated funds towards the cost for the Construction of Corporate Building for Kumari Bank Ltd. at Naxal, Kathmandu and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract; Interior Works of Corporate Building for Kumari Bank Ltd. at Naxal, Kathmandu; Contract Identification No. KBL/Interior Works/NCB/01/2081-82. Bidding is open to all eligible as per Section V of bidding document.
2. Kumari Bank Ltd. invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Interior Works of Corporate Building for Kumari Bank Ltd. at Naxal, Kathmandu under National Competitive Bidding - Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures.
Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:
- Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: NRs 527 Million
- Participation as Prime contractor, management contractor, in at least Two (2) Contracts (Government/Institutional Buildings) for Interior Works and/or Building with Civil and Interior Works combined in single package, within the last ten (10) years, with a value of at least NRs 263 Million including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting works and Modular Furniture in a single building project that have been successfully or are substantially completed and that are similar to the proposed works.
- For the building with the Civil and Interior works combined in a single package, only the interior works (i.e. interior flooring works, false ceiling, interior wall cladding, dry wall partition, curtains, furniture, painting works, internal doors, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and communication works) will be evaluated. The bidder should submit the value of interior work separately along with the Employer's reference letter.
3. Under the Single Stage, Two Envelope Procedure, Bidders are required to submit simultaneously two separate sealed envelopes, one containing (i) the Technical Bid and the other (ii) the Price Bid, both in turn enclosed in one sealed envelope as per the provision of ITB 21 of the Bidding Document.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the General Administration Dept., Corporate Office of Kumari Bank Ltd., Tangal, Kathmandu, Nepal by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs. 20,000.00 till 2082/02/14 (May 28, 2025) during office hours.

6. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at General Administration Department, Kumari Bank Limited, Corporate Office, Tangal, Kathmandu at 14:00 hrs. 2082/02/07 (May 21, 2025).
7. Sealed bids must be submitted to General Administration Dept., Kumari Bank Ltd., Tangal, Kathmandu, Nepal by hand before 12:00 hrs. on 2082/02/16 (May 30, 2025). Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
8. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 hrs. on 2082/02/16 (May 30, 2025) at the office of Kumari Bank Ltd., Tangal, Kathmandu, Nepal. Bids must be valid for a period 120 (one hundred twenty) days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security, amounting to a minimum of NRs. 12.7 Million which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.
9. If the last date of purchasing and/or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid and bid security shall remain same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
10. The Bank reserves the right to amend or correct and accept or reject, wholly or partly, any or all the bids without assigning any reasons, whatsoever.
