Invitation for Submission of CORPORATE BUILDING DESIGN
The bank is currently operating from its corporate office at Kamaladi. However, due to the constraint of space, its corporate affairs has already been operating from more than 4 premises. Accordingly, the current situation, as well as future growth anticipation, has necessitated building a new corporate building fully equipped with modern amenities and services, which is now being planned at Lazimpat (Opposite of Royal Palace, Uttar Dhoka) where the bank owns nearly 6 companies of land.
Now therefore with a view to using the best available talents incorporate building designing, the bank invites submission of primary designs from interested individuals/firms as follows:
The design is expected to include the followings:
- Two levels of the basement for ample parking and utility services
- Adequate circulation including stairs and elevators
- Comfortable working space with energy-efficient natural lighting
- Maximum built-up space. Bank anticipates availability of around 100,000 sq. ft working space.
- Surface customer parking with proper landscape design
- Best suitable corporate building outlook.
Documents to be submitted:
- Site plan
- Floor plans
- Elevations - all side
- Section through staircase and site profile section
- 3d views- 3d rendered images
- Preferred 3D animation- duration maximum of 2 minutes
Cost estimates for each of the infrastructure. The designers shall also indicate "Deliverables" by them if they gave the opportunity for Full Design Contract and construction supervision. Interior/furniture design needs to be avoided at this stage but shall definitely be taken into consideration.
The received designs will be evaluated with shortlisting of the 10 best designs for further evaluation. They will be given the opportunity to present their design before the Evaluation Committee/Board.
The Bank will compensate the best-selected designer with Rs. 500,000. The bank shall own such awarded design. However, preference will be given to the selected designer for detail designing and construction supervisory works under a separate contract.
This competition is open to all. Please submit your designs (printed in A3 and animation CD) within 45 days from the date of publication of this notice.
