Job Description:

The entry-level ERP System Engineer will play a vital role in supporting the organization's ERP system, ensuring its smooth operation, and contributing to its ongoing development and optimization. They will work closely with senior engineers and ERP administrators to implement, customize, and maintain the ERP system to meet the organization's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the ERP system.
Collaborate with ERP administrators and functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into system configurations.
Participate in ERP system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
Support end-users by troubleshooting system issues and providing technical assistance.
Develop and maintain documentation related to ERP system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate the ERP system with other business applications and systems.
Assist in data migration, data cleansing, and data validation activities during ERP system implementations or upgrades.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or running last semester.
Basic understanding of ERP concepts and principles.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle ERP Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite (training will be provided on the specific ERP system used by the organization).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with end-users and technical teams.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Internships or coursework related to ERP systems.
Basic understanding of SQL for querying databases.
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
Familiarity with business process modeling and improvement methodologies.
Certification in ERP systems (e.g., SAP Certified Associate, Oracle ERP Cloud Certification) is a plus.
