Duty Station: Current requirement is in Kathmandu but can be placed anywhere in Nepal as per business needs and future requirements. 

Main responsibility areas:

  • Identify individual targets in cooperation with immediate superior and perform work professionally and with loyalty and integrity.
  • Maintain positive team spirit among colleagues to ensure effective realization of targets focusing on the overall success of the company and the satisfaction of customers.
  • Understand and fully adhere to the company values and code of conduct and act as role model and ambassador of the company.
  • Perform any other reasonable duty assigned by management.
  • Monitor, maintenance, support and forecast OSS systems viz. network packet broker, network probe, big data environment, relational database and related servers.
  • Drive end to end technical solutions for service delivery of OSS solutions including scoping and sprint planning.
  • Create complex data processing pipelines using ETL tools or custom Scripts.
  • Deliver of self-serving reporting solutions that will enable strong insights.
  • Analyze currently deployed technology/solution, define key areas of improvements and participate in critical issue handling.
  • Participate in evaluation and implementation of new and emerging technologies in order to provide exceptional customer service through operational excellence.
  • Analyze and assess security gaps.
  • Perform any other relevant professional duty assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification and experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application or relevant field with 4 years of relevant experience OR a Master’s Degree/ Professional Degree in Engineering/ Computer Science/ Computer Application or similar field with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Should have intermediate experience in SQL i.e., ability to write complex query for RDBMS like PostgreSQL and Oracle.
  • Good understanding of Big data technologies (Hadoop/Spark) and DevOps.
  • Should be able to work with various data formats/source to build reusable data assets.
  • Knowledge of best practices in developing sound business logic and APIs that make data accessible in a safe, scalable and logical way to the stakeholders.
  • Should have hands on experience in programming methodology SDLC, Agile
  • Experience in application development and understanding of telecom would be add-on.
