Electronics Engineer

Taruka Technologies is a start-up in Kathmandu in need of passionate and motivated talent. Taruka is building the future of mobility, transport and agriculture by building electric vehicles and tools to solve the market’s problems. 

You will work with a team of driven people to engineer products to deliver solutions and solve problems. 

Job Description:

• Work with product development team to design, build and refine products
• Work as a team to brainstorm, design, and build a prototype
• Wire electric motor to battery, controller, throttle and other control systems
• Conduct research on battery technology, electric motors, and other electronics systems
• Build battery packs by spot welding, wiring BMS and working with software
• Build tools necessary for the proper functioning of the electronics in products
• Design circuits necessary for battery packs to function
• Build battery pack chargers
• Supervise the fabrication of prototype
• Research relevant technologies
• Fill roles of sales representative, customer service, accountant, HR, and anything else that is necessary

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering
• Experience with programming languages like Java, Python preferred
• Passionate and driven
• Knowledge of soldering, welding, wiring
• Advanced understanding of engineering
• Willing to learn
• Open minded
• Able and willing to work closely with a team
• Willing to step into the shoes of others to help and learn
• Must be able to learn new skills and understand new concepts through Google, Youtube videos, books and other mediums

Compensation :

• Starting salary of 35k
• Equity position and other benefits negotiable
