We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Finland Counselor to join our counseling team at Putalisadak. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding students through the process of studying in Finland, from university selection and application submission to documentation, visa processing, and pre-departure preparation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Student Counseling: Provide comprehensive, accurate, and updated counseling to students and parents regarding higher education opportunities in Finland (Bachelor’s & Master’s degree programs).
Course & University Selection: Assist students in selecting suitable courses, universities based on their academic qualifications, career goals, and financial budget.
Application Processing: Guide students through the entrance exam procedures, application deadlines, portfolio/essay submissions, and joint application periods.
Documentation & Verification: Inspect and verify academic credentials, language proficiency certificates (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, etc.), motivation letters, and financial documents to ensure compliance with Finnish institution standards.
Visa Guidance: Assist students with the Residence Permit application process (Enter Finland portal), document checklist, proof of funds requirements, health insurance verification, and interview preparation.
Follow-up & Conversion: Actively maintain and update lead records, follow up with potential applicants, and convert prospective inquiries into enrollments.
Institutional Coordination: Communicate with university representatives, international offices, and partner institutions to receive updates on admission policies and entry requirements.
Pre-departure Support: Conduct orientation sessions covering accommodation options, living costs, student life, post-study work regulations, and residence permit conditions in Finland.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Humanities, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of hands-on experience as an Education Counselor specializing in European destinations, with strong expertise in Finland admissions and residence permits.
Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali.
Knowledge Base: In-depth understanding of the Finnish higher education system (UAS vs. Academic Universities), intake cycles, application portals, scholarship options, and residence permit regulations.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong convincing ability, empathy, active listening skills, and a professional attitude toward client handling.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and client relationship management software/CRM.
