Roles and responsibilities of this job

To provide a supportive learning environment for students to develop graduate level and subject specific skills
To manage and coordinate the delivery of the Economics programme
To develop and implement teaching and learning initiatives
Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
Taking responsibility for the progress of students
Guide and counsel students with adjustment and/or academic problems, or special academic interests

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Must have completed Master Degree in Economics
An ability to lead and/or work as part of a team
Must have suitable expertise to deliver lectures in Economics
Previous teaching experience in higher education
Proven and sustained track record of contribution to the development of policy
Practice in teaching and learning support
Have an excellent command of both written and spoken English
Should have a passion for their profession and dedicated for a long-term service
