FHI 360 has been working in Nepal since 1993. Together with the Government of Nepal (GoN), civil society, and the private sector, FHI 360 works collaboratively in the areas of HIV, family planning (FP)/reproductive health (RH), health security and one health, nutrition, COVID-19 response, procurement, and supply chain management, local capacity strengthening, civil society and media strengthening, governance reform, and the environment and climate change. We request applications from qualified individuals for the positions mentioned below:

Driver

The driver is responsible for driving the FHI 360 vehicle and is responsible for keeping the vehicle in proper operating condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive FHI 360 vehicles in project field sites and Kathmandu.
  • Ensure the vehicle is in proper operation and good condition.
  • Clean and maintain vehicle daily and perform routine maintenance and services.
  • Maintain vehicle logbook regularly.
  • Deliver FHI 360 mails and parcels, as necessary.
  • Report vehicle problem immediately to the supervisor.
  • Other duties assigned by the supervisor.                                                                                                          
Requirements
  • Secondary education or equivalent with three to four years of driving experience.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Knowledge of vehicle machines, parts and basics of maintenance.
  • Ability to read and write English and Nepali.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
