We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. This role involves collaborating with Other IT departments to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our systems and networks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a production environment (network, security, applications, serverless, and containers)
- Minimum 2+ years' experience with Unix-based systems.
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Configuration Management)
- Experience in leading scripting tools (Python/Ruby/Bash etc.)and one or more programming languages (e.g., .NET, Angular, Python).
- Expert understanding of CI tools.
- Strong scripting and automation skills
- Solid understanding of web applications.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, LPIC, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of basic network principles
- Experience in IAAC (Infrastructure as Code) using Ansible and Jenkins
- Security background (optional but highly preferred)
- Better if experience in Fintech
Role and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cutting-edge AWS solutions to support cloud operations, integration, and continuous delivery.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers to deliver production-ready solutions and provide DevOps tools and expertise.
- Supporting the daily operation regarding application and infrastructure
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.
- Ensuring the systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
- Write, manage, and update documentation related to the development
- Deploying, automating, maintaining, building, and managing Cloud-based production systems.
- Collaborating with teams, ensuring continuous improvement, and leading incident response.
- Assist in the administration and maintenance of servers and systems.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for systems, networks, and procedures. Create and update technical manuals and guides.
- Configure and manage networking services, including DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
