Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a creative and skilled MYP Design / Computer Teacher to guide students in practical and digital design, computational thinking, and technology-based problem solving within the Middle Years Programme (MYP) framework. The ideal candidate will inspire hands-on learning, innovation, and digital literacy among students.

Academic Session: 2026–2027

Key Responsibilities

Teach Design and ICT to students in the Middle Years Programme.
Plan and deliver hands-on, inquiry-based lessons that involve digital or product design and problem-solving.
Guide students through practical projects, from coding and robotics to graphic design or sustainable modeling.
Design and assess student projects against specific criteria to track skill development and technical proficiency.
Support students in developing technical literacy, computational thinking, and digital citizenship.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and interdisciplinary technology projects.
Provide timely, constructive feedback to help students refine their designs and technical skills.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Design, Education, or a related field.
Prior experience teaching at the middle school level (international curriculum experience preferred).
Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, CAD, programming languages, or Google Workspace).
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Ability to manage a workshop or computer lab environment safely and effectively.
Strong organizational, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
Commitment to continuous professional growth and collaborative teamwork.
