We're looking for proactive undergraduate students in their final year or fresh graduates to join our team as a Data Analytics Fellow. This fellowship is all about exploring the exciting world of analytics and getting hands-on experience with real-world applications in a pioneering e-commerce company. During your six months at Daraz, you'll get to work on cross departmental projects throughout the organization and explore new ways to use data to solve problems. A successful candidate should be detail-oriented, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be willing to dive into any problem to independently find a solution.

Responsibilities:

• Independently own and navigate complex projects to provide meaningful, data-driven solutions to existing problems.
• Learn how to be a storyteller of the data, understanding that data solutions are best rooted in stories.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to provide data-driven insights and support decision-making processes.
• Create engaging and informative data visualizations and presentations to communicate your findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Final year student in an undergraduate program (seeking for traineeship) or fresh graduates with a focus on data science, computer science, statistics, or any related field.
• Able to commit to standard working hours. Timing can be made flexible
• Basic to operational proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel or any programming language
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Interest and ability to work in data analysis, visualizations, and data interpretation of large datasets
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
