Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a friendly, dynamic, and experienced Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will guide students and their families in selecting the right universities and courses, assist with visa documentation, and provide ongoing support throughout the application process. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of international education systems, and a student-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personalized counseling to students for theoverseas study destinations.
Assist students with university and course selection based on their academic background, career goals, and personal preferences.
Guide students through application processes, including documentation, Statement of Purpose (SOP) preparation, and visa procedures.
Coordinate with partner universities to ensure timely submission and smooth processing of applications.
Maintain regular follow-ups with students and parents, providing updates and support throughout the admission process.
Stay up-to-date with changes in visa regulations, university requirements, and international education trends.
Conduct webinars, workshops, and information sessions to educate students about study-abroad opportunities.
Maintain accurate student records and reports for internal tracking and reporting purposes.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree or higher in any relevant field.
Previous experience in student counseling or education consultancy (experience with UK or other international study destinations preferred).
Strong knowledge of visa processes and international university systems.
Excellent communication skills in English and Nepali.
Friendly, approachable personality with strong ethics and a student-first mindset.
Ability to manage multiple student cases and meet deadlines efficiently.
Familiarity with digital tools for communication and application tracking is a plus.
