• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or related field will be a plus 
• Proficient with Search Engine Optimization (Preferred) 
• Experience with web markup language (Preferred) 
• Minimum 2 years of copywriting experience for companies or freelance. 
• Comfortable working independently with little direction under tight deadlines 
• Sense of humor, irony and an innate ability to find authentic points of connection between people and products. 
• Solid portfolio featuring a wide range of real work across channels 
• Experience using a CMS such as WordPress and Shopify 
• Understanding of and passion for inbound/content marketing 
• Excellent conceptual thinking skills - understands the connection of narrative, visuals and interactivity
